SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT & REBRAND SPEC WORK

SunLife Organics is one of my favorite superfood stops for a nutrient acai bowl, a sweet smoothie, or a refreshing juice. As a previous student at the University of Southern California, this was one of my favorite places to get food between classes, (my favorite is the Samurai).

Since I’m expanding into marketing & design for more cafes, restaurants, etc, I decided to rebrand SunLife. It’s common for brands to simplify logos to associable designs, however, I didn’t want to take away from the original Pink Lotus logo, as it’s an important characteristic of the SunLife story. So, rather than flattening the design completely, I added an origami-like aspect.

Origami is proven to reduce anxiety and is often associated with mindfulness practices, like yoga. Since the beautiful Pink Lotus grows at night and from mud, it represents the parallel idea of finding beauty within darkness, an experience told by the owner of SunLife.
